Honeybees wouldn’t be here without including a good range of washable nappies!

I have been developing promotional schemes for Worcestershire County Council and telling everyone about real nappies across Worcestershire for 6 years since my youngest child started using real nappies. I have through this time seen, used and learnt about most brands and types of nappy on the current market and have narrowed down this minefield of choices to keep in stock what I feel are the best of the bunch. I’m not going to start yet another nappy information website here. I’d much prefer you to call into the shop and actually feel what will be against your baby’s bottom and get the chance to ask questions and receive the best advice about what systems will be best suited to your circumstances and therefore avoid costly mistakes.

I still run Worcestershire County Councils Nappachino meetings including the new evening meeting at Honeybees but if you can’t make a date or are in a hurry for your nappies and do not want to wait to order anything then just pop along to the shop and I will happily talk nappies with you and explain Worcestershire County Councils real nappy incentive scheme where you can have money refunded from your purchase. You then have the benefit of being able to buy and take your nappies away and also be able to get the necessary top up supplies as and when you need them. We usually have stock of the following sized shaped nappies in the shop: Motherease Sandys, Totsbots, Lollipop and waterproof wraps by Motherease, Nature Babies, Onelife, Tots Bots. We stock the incredibly popular one sized nappy Onelife and the new one sized organic velour Cottontail nappy alongside the one sized pocket nappy Bumgenius as well as Brightbot terry squares and also Lollipop white cotton squares and bamboo squares. I’ve found over the years that these types and brands of nappies are the most successful for the majority of families. If we haven't the nappy brand that you want in stock them I can usually quite easily order it in for you. As your baby grows we have Bambino Mio trainer pants and also the fun Brightbots trainers where toddlers come in and choose their favourite colours to take home with them! When out at swimming pools we have washable Brightbots swim nappies to again help you not have to buy throw away nappies.

To compliment the nappies we also stock Ecover non-bio detergent as well as Ecover laundry bleach and Eco dryer balls to make laundering that bit greener.

Honeybees isn’t just about real nappies though as we also stock Moltex and Tushie eco-friendly nappies as well as eco wet wipes, washable wipes and biodegradable nappy sacks.

Between nappy changes (real nappies or disposables) many babies need to have creams applied to their bottoms. I always used the Earth Friendly range and Mother Earth range on my daughter and so naturally chose these 2 brands to have in the shop. Both are natural products and some are organic too. The essential oils are healing to the skin without having any harsh un-necessary perfumes and chemicals to irritate their delicate skin.

We are excited to have in stock the very clever Gro Group Bottom Buddy range of changing mat and changing screen. I’m not one for gimmicks but I can so see the benefit of this screen. It fastens around most changing mats and keeps your child occupied during nappy changes whilst the screen makes it tricky for him or her to help clean their bottoms!!! Natures Purest have launched a truly beautiful changing mat cover with detachable liner in their trademark organic cotton and natural dye colourings.
