I have to admit to being suspicious of the adjustment method for the thigh and waist elastic but am now converted after having this nappy trialed through Honeybees and feel it is now one of the most adjustable nappies on the market.
Fuzzi Bunz have used their years of experience of making nappies to design a one-size version of their popular resuable pocket nappies. The method of adjustment is unique and innovative.
Soft PUL waterproofing make the outer shell of this nappy with stay dry fleece for the inner to go against your baby's skin. Into the opening at the back waistband you insert the booster pads to make the nappy absorbent, increasing the amount as your baby grows and develops. Each nappy comes with a small and a large inner booster which can be snapped together for ease of use when necessary.
The Fuzzi Bunz onesize will fit a newborn baby from 7lb weight through to a toddler of around 35lb by a very clever adjustment feature on the leg and waist cuffs. The elastic used here is similar to that used on adjustable clothing for older children. The elastic strip has reinforced button holes along it so that the cuff can be adjusted and loosened as your baby grows in size and age. This doesn't need opening at every wash so don't worry about it being a faff! I would recommend though that every so often this is left opened at washing so that this are can get a good cleanse - something that you can't do with most other nappies. Our guinea pig families who have trialled this nappy for Honeybees have said that once this sizing is adjusted it gives a brilliant fit and superb containment.
