Wipes and Cotton Wool

Every baby needs a wipe of some sort to cleanse it's bottom with. Normally the first choice is cotton wool for a newborn baby with their tiny little bottoms and very sensitive skin. Many parents then move onto wet wipes which can be fine for out and about (like disposable nappies) but can be very costly when used every day at home both in terms of finance and your babies skin. I hear many stories of parents using main barnd wet wipes to clean stains off carpets.....

The wet wipes that I've chosen for Honeybees are gentle in terms of ingredients and soft in terms of touch as well as biodegradable and flushable. Even these though can still be costly for every day use.....

An alternative is a washable wipe and you don't need to be using washable nappies to use these! Simply use toilet paper to remove most of the soiling and then wet the cloth to give your baby's bottom a though clean and then wash it after use and just see how much money you save!
